The Burrell Collection, Pollok Park
Boasting over 9000 artworks, this purpose-built building features reconstructions of rooms from Sir William Burrell’s home, alongside medieval art, tapestries and alabasters, as well as works by Degas and Cezanne plus a treasure trove of artefacts from ancient China, Egypt, Greece and Rome.
The Collection is located in Pollok Country Park, Glasgow’s largest park with many walks and an abundance of wildlife.

Bellahouston Park
Here you’ll find the House for an Art Lover, an architectural gem built on designs by Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
You can also enjoy walks in the walled garden and take in breathtaking views of the city.
Glasgow Science Centre
A great family attraction that presents science and technology in a unique and inspiring way, Glasgow Science Centre is one of Scotland’s must-see visitor attractions, with lots of activities to keep visitors of all ages entertained for hours, including two acres of interactive exhibits, workshops, shows, activities, a planetarium and an IMAX cinema.

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
One of Scotland’s most popular free attractions, featuring 22 themed, state-of-the-art galleries displaying 8000 objects, collections ranging from natural history, arms and armour, to art from many periods of history and much more. Also home to Salvador Dali’s famous masterpiece ‘Christ of St John of the Cross’, Sir Roger the Asian elephant and a Spitfire plane hanging from the ceiling! There’s also a restaurant, cafe and shop.

Scotland Street School and Museum
A must-see for Charles Rennie Mackintosh fans. The school was designed by Glasgow’s most celebrated architect at the start of the 20th century and was a functioning school up until 1979. The museum tells the story of education in Scotland over the past 100 years.
Huntarian Museum
Scotland’s oldest public museum and home to one of the largest collections outside of the National Museums, including scientific instruments used by James Watt, Joseph Lister and Lord Kelvin, impressive ethnographic objects from Captain Cook’s Pacific voyages, a major art collection and the largest single holding of the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh including The Mackintosh House.
The Scottish Football Museum
Glasgow’s South Side is also the home of Hampden, Scotland’s national stadium where the national football team play their home matches. Take a guided tour of the stadium and visit the Scottish Football Museum with its extensive range of memorabilia.
